Independent Advice

Honest, Impartial advice

Technology can be complicated

Need advice? we can help

Advisory Service

Not all businesses have a technical department or IT team to call upon, not all of them need one, but most businesses these days do need to make use of technology to operate efficiently. We can help plug the knowledge gap by acting as a technical resource on demand. From the one person specialist to the larger enterprise, we can help.

We offer an independent advisory service for business, providing clear and concise advice and guidance. Perhaps you want advice in plain English on whether to choose solution A over solution B and need help reading around the sales pitch or promotional material.  Maybe you are concerned about vendor lock in and having parts of your business processes encapsulated in something you have little real control over.

Perhaps you instinctively know you can make a process better, faster or cheaper by using some technology, but aren’t sure exactly what you need, or what’s the best option for your business.

We can help you identify suitable solutions, advise you of any pitfalls before you take the plunge, or even build a solution from scratch for you.

Truly Independent

One condition we attach to our advice is that we won’t advise on our own products. It’s best suited where you already have some idea of a set of competing technologies, but can’t make up your mind about who to use or what product to buy. We can ask the relevant questions for you and provide you with independent advice.

Perhaps you don’t really understand (or even want to understand) the technology enough to make a decision and want an independent view of the long term cost of ownership.

Perhaps you have concerns about migrating away from one solution to another and don’t know where to start. We can help with this. It costs nothing to ask if we can help.

Honesty

Maybe you’re a little curious as to why something isn’t possible, you’ve a got an idea, you’ve discussed it with your IT provider or department, but aren’t really satisfied as to ‘why’ something isn’t possible. We can explain or translate the reasons for you and provide you with the right questions to ask.

Maybe your technology costs are rising with no real return, still operating that rack of servers in the basement? Still paying for people to maintain them, is that the right choice for you or is there a better way?

Impartial, Honest, advice

We can help you make informed decisions about technology.
